Time it takes to get to Cal City MX Park from Valencia is 1hr 30min, Comp Edge 1hr 25min, Racetown 1hr 35min.The same applies if you live in AV, it takes the same time to get to CCMX as the other two Tracks that I mentioned. You should come check out CCMX, it's not as far as everyone makes it out to be. We have got the best DIRT around. Open Practice is Wed-Fri-Sat and Sundays from 9am-4pm. This is Round 3 of 6. We are paying CASH to Race, if there are 10 in a class on ALL THE BIG BIKE CLASSES we will pay $50 1st, $40 2nd, & $30 3rd. We are also handing out $5 CCMX BUCKS for hole shot on every Moto in the first Moto of the day. We will have the BBQ going on Saturday and Sunday. We have also added 200 yards of sand in one section of the Track since the last Race. If you have never been here or its been awhile since you have been here, it is worth the drive. We hope to see you at the Track this weekend.

We are closed tomorrow Wednesday 1-27-10 due to all the rain from last week. We will be open for sure on Sat and Sun of this week. We have worked really hard this week trying to open but the track was hit very hard with rain. I have made lots of track changes as well this week and can't wait to see all of you riding it soon. Round #2 for the 2 Way Series Rescheduled

Due to severe weather conditions, we have to reschedule Round #2 of the 3rd Annual 2 Way Series and we will be closed January 22-24. New race schedule is as follows:
Round #2 - February 14th @ Taft Honolulu Hills
Round #3 - February 28th @ Cal City MX Park
Round #4 - (Final Round) March 7th @ Cal City MX Park
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you and we will work diligently to re-open for practice on Wednesday January 27.
As a reminder: Dave Stanfield's Memorial Service will be held at our facility on Friday, January 29 beginning at 11am. Everyone is welcome to attend. There will be no riding that day. Dave's Memorial Ride Day will be held the following day, January 30 from 9am-4pm. All are welcome! Practice will be $35.00 per rider, so please join us to raise funds for his family. We will be barbecueing and selling t-shirts and stickers. All proceeds will be given to Pam Stanfield. If you would like to donate to Dave's family but are unable to make the events, you may send a check payable to Pam Stanfield and mail it to:

Dave Stanfield Memorial Service and Memorial Ride Day 2 Day Event

We have lost our dear friend Dave Stanfield to his 9 month battle to cancer. We will be open Friday January 29 but there will be no riding that day. We will be having Dave’s Memorial Service at the track, it will start at 11:00am and end when everyone leaves. Everyone is invited to spend the day with us to celebrate Dave’s life. We will have a tent that will hold 150 people and will be serving lunch and remembering him. Dave was a great man and an awesome Husband and Father. He has left his wife an 4 children behind so please spend Friday and Saturday with us. We will have a Memorial Ride day for him January 30th from 9am-4pm we will be charging $35.00 for the day to ride. We will also be selling Lunch, shirts, and stickers and all proceeds will be going to Pam Stanfield. I know times are tough now but if can help the Stanfield family out they are having a tougher time than most of us. 3RD ANNUAL 2 WAY SERIES STARTS THIS WEEKEND!! CCMX PARK AND TAFT

The 3rd Annual 2 Way Series starts this weekend at Taft Honolulu Hills Raceway Jan 10th 2010. Round Two is at Cal City MX Park Jan 24th. Round Three is at Taft Honolulu Hills Raceway Feb 14th, and the last Round is at Cal City MX Park Feb 28th. We have placed these races not to interfere with the Gold Cup Races. We hope to see you at the races. There will be Saturday Practice at both tracks the day before each race from 9am - 3pm with free overnight camping. Cal City MX Park will be open for practice the days we are racing at Taft so if you don't want to race you can ride CCMX and have some fun. The track will be open from 9am-4pm this Saturday and Sunday Jan 9th and 10th.

This is the Final Round of this Series. We will be cooking Hamburgers and Hotdogs on Saturday and on Sunday we will have Carne Asada Tacos on the BBQ. We also have Thousands of dollars worth of prizes we will be giving away at the end of the First Moto on Sunday. All the food on the BBQ is cooked with White Oak. See you at the Track this weekend.

1st ANNUAL HARVEST FESTIVAL / SWAP MEET PERMIT NOV 31st & NOV 1st 2009

Here is the Permit that you must fill out to reserve a vendor spot for our 1st Annual Harvest Festival / Swap Meet. We are excited about this event and can't wait to see what happens this weekend. The Swap Meet will take place Oct 31st and Nov 1st. We ask that every vendor bring some bags of candy so all the little kids can Trick-or-Treat up and down vendor row. PEE-WEE AND PIT BIKE TRACK IS READY TO GO!!

We are launching the new motocross season with a new layout to our Pee-Wee track. Pit bikes are also welcome for the new layout. We have also planted several trees in our facilty for your enjoyment with several more to be planted in our parking area shortly.
As a reminder, CCMXR Promotion's 2009 Fall Series begins Sunday, October 11th. For more information, please visit our website at www.calcitymxpark.com.
We continue to add to our parts shop and concession store. With our several dealer accounts, we are able to order whatever you need.
Don't forget about our 1st Annual Harvest Festival! This is an opportunity to sell all of your used motocross stuff. No new vendors will be allowed. If you are interested, please obtain a permit application from us. The fee is only $25.00 for the entire weekend. Spots will be located on the outside of our fence by the picnic tables. We will be open all weekend for open practice. Kids will be trick-or-treating, so we ask that every vendor please bring bags of candy.

Sorry it's been so long since our last post. We are excited that it's starting to cool off. The track is starting to pick up again and the track has been really good the last few weeks. The dirt is holding water better and we hope to see you all back soon.

Labor day hours are: Fri, Sept 4th 9:00 -4:00 / Sat ,Sept 5th 9:00 - 4:00 / Sun, Sept 6th 9:00 - 4:00 / Open Monday Sept 7th 9:00 - 3:00.

The 2009 Fall Series dates are: 4 Round Series beginning Oct 11th, Oct 25, Nov 8th, and Nov 22nd. We are trying something a little different this Series, we are going to have a race every other weekend so it is easier for everyone who is driving a good distance to come to Cal City MX Park. The flyer will be up on the website and in all the Motorcycle shops very shortly.

Round 2 will be held at AV Motoplex in Lancaster, CA

Round 3 will be held at Cal City MX Park in California City, CA
